And, while the world was covered in a blanket of white outside...

My dear children were busy making the inside was just as snowy and white!
I opened the door to Jack's bedroom and was met with a nice pile of "snow" all over the floor, the rug, the space heater, the rocking chair...
...the toys...

Then, I moved on to Lydia's room... And found more. All over the rug again, her clothes...

...the CD player...

And, so... Should you like to create an indoor snow scene inside your house, just pick up a bottle of baby powder, hand it to your kids and let them go at it. It really is quite festive, I think. And it does make for a lovely aroma throughout the house.
As I was gritting my teeth, trying to control my anger, I sent both kids to their beds. Jack, sitting in his crib told me, "All done crying, mom," in hopes of getting out. "Ha," I replied, "I'm not done crying. Your staying put, pal."
Lydia's response? "Santa will still come, right mom?"
Hmmm. Let me think about that one for a bit, please.

you're having the same day as me. I won't show my boys this post and you don't tell your kids about how fun it is to break full length mirrors, haul their mom out of the shower wet and raging, find out the the ear doctor is already on Christmas vacation and the day's not even half hour. I call for a redo. You in?

A resounding, YES! Ugh. Really. I think the more mom has going on, the more they take it upon themselves to cause more chaos.

I found this mess once too, all over our computer! Good thing it all vacuumed up so nice, there are worse things that they could have spread all over the house.
Hope things look a bit better for you.

Yes, when I told my sister she laughed... And when she got done laughing she said, "Did you take pictures?" And then she went on to remind me that it could be paint. Definetly could be much worse. : )

I hear tell of a time my dad and Sue dumped 20#'s of flour out to make snow, along with rolls of toilet paper for roads while Grandma was doing laundry...she claims the neighbors still remember her shaking her kids off outside.:)

Not to make you feel like this wasn't a bad situation...but time to share this story: My mom has a home video of the mess my lil bros created one day. They dumped shampoo, conditioner, maxi pads, tampons, corn flakes and raw eggs and their shells all over the kitchen and the bathroom:) Then, Mom scolded the boys, and as soon as they were out of her eye sight, she laughed and laughed and laughed and got out the video camera!!!
Also, Happy bert day Sarah!

Oh Sarah... I almost wanted to cry for you. Don't you just wonder why we can't just have a 10 minute break where we knew everything upstairs or in the other room would be okay?? I thought I threw away all the markers in the house...but apparantly not... I have 3 new drawings on my walls.
Happy Belated Birthday!!!

Oh wow, poor you!! It is a good time to take out the camera tho. Hopefully your birthday went better. One thing on those kinds is you know it can only go up from there.

I think all the kids are getting antsy. Last Friday Jenna decided she was going to "paint" my walls. I was still half asleep in bed when I heard her say I'm painting! Well needless to say I got out of bed right quick. She was painting the wall with her dad's razor that he'd left on the bathroom countertop, and some vasoline. yuck. At least it just wiped off the wall. :)
