After the Candy Attack

We took the kids to all of about 7 houses last night, but they got enough from the grandparents for me to raid their pails without feeling guilty.

As we got home last night, Lydia says, "I see candy when I close my eyes."

... And there you have it: a sucessfull night of trick-or-treating for a three-year-old.

Ahhh, it is so nice when they don't have high expectations, hey?

I want to tell you that I really enjoy your writing, I can relate so much- my husband went through nursing school a few years ago, and we survived. He is an RN now, and likes it. The week after he graduated, we found out we were having twins. All I could do was laugh, hysterically, I think. Now they are two.
Anyways, I enjoy reading your blog, though I don't know you- I know your sister Cathy a bit.
Keep on!

Thanks, Jan! Good to hear of others who have gone back to school with kids at home... and survived it. :) Sometimes it feels crazy, but I know we aren't the only ones.

It sure is nice when just a couple of houses satifies them. This year my kids went for a whole hour! Way too much candy!! I don't feel guilty sneeking either. :)
