What goes through their little brains?

Me (lazy because it's Monday and Ryan's gone to class): What do you guys want for supper?
Lydia: Um... A surprise maybe?
Me: Hm. Well. How about a frozen pizza?
Lydia (wrinkling up her nose, shaking her head): Nah.
Me: Why not frozen pizza?
Lydia: I don't like pizza frozen. I like warmed up pizza.

I can only imagine what she was thinking. Ice chunks hanging off the mozzerella, solid sauce and a rock hard frozen crust. I think I'll take mine warmed up as well, thank-you very much.

What a riot!! Kids sure do make a person think twice about why we do and call things what we do.

Speaking of Lydia. This morning I overheard Ali saying to Chels- "When you get bigger I can go school with you, and "Lady a". I think I explained once who might be in her grade. She never forgets a thing.

Christy: they sure do have a way of putting things in perspective, don't they?

Juliana: We should get these two together. Lydia's always bored and it would be fun to have Ali over to play.

I always wish that little kids had running captions of their thoughts going over their heads; it would be so entertaining!
